Axe Throwing Terms & Conditions

Rules for Participants – Daventry Miniature Race Cars & Ace Axes

At Ace Axes, we prioritise safety and fun for everyone.

Please read and follow these rules carefully to ensure an enjoyable and secure experience.

1. Drink & Drugs Policy

We have a strict no drink/drugs policy. If you arrive intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, or we suspect you are unfit to participate, we reserve the right to refuse entry without a refund. This is for your safety, as well as the safety of other guests and our staff. Any verbal or physical abuse towards staff will result in the police being called, and your group will be banned from future experiences at Ace Axes.

2. Footwear

All participants must wear closed-toe, flat shoes. No exceptions.

We recommend wearing clothing that will not restrict your movement. No hoodies, long hair tied back.

3. Participation & Liability

  • Every attendee will receive a full safety briefing from our team before their event.

  • After learning the rules, participants take part at their own risk.

  • Daventry Miniature Race Cars & Ace Axes are not liable for any personal injury or equipment damage caused by failure to follow safety instructions.

  • You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to contact us regarding the suitability of our games for any health or disability issues that you may be concerned about.

  • All participants may be asked to sign a waiver agreeing to our Terms and Conditions before entering the axe-throwing range.

4. Age Restrictions

  • Participants aged 12-17 must be accompanied by at least one adult per event.

  • Children under 12 years old are not permitted to participate at Aces Axes.

5. Handling Axes

  • Axes must be picked up by the handle only and returned to the designated box after each throw.

  • Do not pass axes between players. Always return them to the designated area.

6. Equipment Use

  • Only Ace Axes-provided axes may be used.

  • Our equipment is inspected multiple times daily to ensure maximum safety.

7. Instructor Authority

  • Follow all instructions given by Ace Axes staff at all times.

  • Failure to comply may result in your removal from the venue without a refund.

8. Safety First

  • Do not throw an axe if a person or animal is in your lane.

  • Dangerous or reckless behaviour will result in the immediate end of your session.

9. Safety Line & Axe Retrieval

  • Do not cross the safety line until both throwers’ axes have come to a complete stop and your instructor confirms it is safe.

  • Axes must not be removed from the lane except by an employee.

10. Participants

  • In case you have brought more players to the Experience than booked, the price difference can be settled upon arrival.

By booking a session, you agree to follow these rules. Failure to do so may result in session termination without a refund.
